Welcome to nofin.co.za. By browsing or using this website you agree to these terms of use, which together with our Privacy Policy govern your use of the website. If you do not agree, please do not use the website. “Nofin”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the owner of this website; “you” refers to anyone who uses it.

1. Information on this website

The content on this website is for general information only and may change without notice. We work to keep it accurate, but we do not warrant that any information, vehicle listing, specification, price or availability shown is complete, current or free of errors. Vehicle availability and pricing may change without notice, and photographs may be illustrative.

2. Pre-qualification is not an offer or approval

The online pre-qualification is a preliminary affordability check. It is not a credit agreement, a rental agreement, an offer, or a guarantee of approval. Any result is provisional and subject to document verification, affordability, legal eligibility, vehicle availability and final approval. A rental only exists once a written agreement has been signed by both parties, and the terms of that agreement apply to the rental.

3. Rent to own: what happens at the end of the rental

Nofin offers long-term vehicle rental, not vehicle finance. Where this website refers to “rent to own”, it means renting a vehicle from Nofin with the option to buy it at the end of the rental period. You do not become the owner of the vehicle by paying the rental.

At the end of the rental period set out in your rental agreement, you may choose to:

The vehicle remains the property of Nofin (or the vehicle owner) for the whole rental period, and ownership passes to you only if you buy it. A cash offer or refinance deal is a separate agreement. It is not guaranteed and depends on the vehicle’s value and condition, your circumstances and, for refinancing, the finance provider’s own approval at that time. Your signed rental agreement sets out the exact terms of your rental.

4. Your information and applications

When you pre-qualify, apply, upload documents or refer someone, you confirm that the information you give us is true, complete and your own to share. Giving false or misleading information, or uploading documents that are not genuine, may lead to your application being declined and may be reported to the relevant authorities. How we handle personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy.

5. Referrals (Become a spotter)

If you refer someone to Nofin, you must have their permission to share their contact details with us. Referral rewards are paid only on the conditions communicated for the referral programme at the time, and Nofin may change or end the programme at any time.

6. Acceptable use

You may not use this website in any way that is unlawful, harmful or fraudulent, that interferes with its operation or security, or that attempts to gain unauthorised access to any part of it or to anyone else’s information. Unauthorised use of this website may give rise to a claim for damages and may be a criminal offence.

7. Intellectual property

This website and its content, including its design, layout, text, graphics and logos, are owned by or licensed to Nofin. You may view and print pages for your personal use, but you may not copy, reproduce or republish any part of it for commercial purposes without our written permission. Trade marks of other parties that appear on this website belong to their owners.

8. Links to other websites

This website may link to other websites for your convenience. A link does not mean we endorse that website, and we are not responsible for its content or its privacy practices.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent allowed by law, including the Consumer Protection Act, you use this website at your own risk, and Nofin is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of it, from reliance on its content, or from the website being unavailable. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under South African consumer law that cannot lawfully be limited.

10. Changes and governing law
